I dream of Dungeness Crab, Sockeye Salmon and fresh shrimp at least once a week. You see, that’s the thing about living in the desert. The ocean is miles and miles a way. In the short time that I’ve lived in Phoenix, I’ve learned a few things. If you’re eating sushi, make sure the place is well lit and you’re analyzing the shit out of that sushi. Also, never buy “fresh” salmon from the grocery store. Trust me on this one. Your best bet? Store bought smoked salmon. Make yourself a little sammy.
Or take a trip to the Salt Cellar, Scottsdale AZ. Seafood is flown in daily and never frozen. Its bomb diggity.
